| "Casa dell'artista" - Abruzzi |
We thought that the restoration work done at "Casa dell'artista" was also worth a special
mention. Lucio the artist set about painstakingly renovating the entire building by hand with
three elderly men who still have the necessary skills to achieve the task. By 11 am these same
three gentlemen were already mellow as they enjoyed the pleasures of a Montepulciano wine. We're
still not totally certain about the state of Lucio himself. But there can be little doubt that
none of this has affected the work itself, and, instead, goes a long way to explaining the
harmonious environment to be found at the "Casa dell'artista"...
